Why We Built StackIQ
In 2025, a new AI tool for creators launched every single day. Most of them were noise. A handful were genuinely game-changing. The problem was that nobody was doing the work to tell you which was which — at least not honestly.
Most "review" sites were just affiliate link farms, ranking tools based on commission rates rather than actual quality. We got tired of it. So we built StackIQ: a site where every review is based on real testing, real workflows, and real results.
Our Review Process
Every tool reviewed on StackIQ goes through a standardized evaluation process before we publish a word about it:
- Minimum 14 days of hands-on use in real creator workflows
- Testing across multiple use cases (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
- Head-to-head comparison against the closest competitors
- Evaluation of pricing, support quality, and update cadence
- Final IQ Score assigned based on a weighted rubric (not vibes)
The IQ Score System
Every tool on StackIQ receives an IQ Score — a number from 1 to 10 that represents our overall assessment of the tool's value for creators. The score is calculated from five weighted categories:
Our Stance on Affiliate Links
Yes, StackIQ earns affiliate commissions when you click our links and purchase a tool. We believe in full transparency about this — it's how we keep the lights on and continue testing tools for free.
However, our affiliate relationships never influence our scores or recommendations. We have given low IQ Scores to tools with high commission rates, and high IQ Scores to tools with no affiliate program at all. Our credibility is worth more than any commission check.
